Our 17th century Longhouse nestled amongst farmland and set in an acre of landscaped gardens has spacious sitting and dining rooms with oak beams and inglenook fireplaces.

We offer delicious breakfasts and wonderful cuisine in the evenings. Wherever possible, we use locally produced and home grown products. We are fully licenced and offer a well stocked bar and extensive wine list.

Our farmhouse is ideal for business or leisure. It has 5 double, charming and individually designed en-suite bedrooms and 1 twin bedded room with private bathroom.

Sampson Barton is in a super location, just three miles from South Molton, gateway to Exmoor National Park. This is perfect for the professional walker or just as equally for those out for a casual stroll to take in the wondrous views. If you prefer a bracing walk along the sands then Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Croyde Beaches are just a 50 minute drive away. Golfing, fishing and horse riding facilities are available in abundance and with 8 National Trust properties in the region, there is definately something for everyone!
